Happy Halloween!!!!

(And yes, I know that Halloween was indeed a week ago, but it takes time to make this blog look oh so good ... so follow along now as I run down all the fun I had over my Halloween day activities.)

First there was a long ride out to the pumpkin patch ...

Avery at the pumpkin patch with Mommy to search
for just the right size pumpkin ...

... and I happen to find just the right one
when all of the sudden ...

... a bunch of crazy goats busted loose and started running
all around and making tons of trouble ...

... until I got them all to calm down by sharing
some of my snacks with them ...

... and then I corralled them back into their animal pens
and rang a bell to let everyone know that it was
safe to come back out now.

Then after the pumpkin patch, it was time to spill some pumpkin guts and make some jack-o-lanterns ...

Avery starting the messy process of converting
pumpkins into jack-o-lanterns ...

... with some help from Mommy and some sharp knives
(since Daddy was too busy taking pictures) ...

... and thus, ta-da ... Mr and Mrs Howl-la-ween pumpkins!!!

Next, I got dressed up and ready to go trick some strangers into giving me tons of treats ... take a wild guess what I dressed up as!!!

Avery excited to be dressed as a ...

... Fairy Princess!!! ... especially because Shannon is dressed up
as a Fairy Princess as well ....

... and there goes Avery and Shannon loaded up into their
Fairy Princess Chariot to start Trick-or-Treating ...

... Daddy even attempted to dress up by wearing his
"Iron Man" superhero tee-shirt ...
(psst, sort of a lame attempt Daddy, so next
year I'll have to help you with your outfit) ...

 ... and I even got a nice non-candy treat when I
ran into my good friends Nikki and Dan ...

... and concerning candy treats, I made out like a bandit ...
I didn't even have to get out of my ride to get candy ...
strangers would bring it straight to me ...

... but it's also fun to walk up to the doors to see all of the
scary decorations and people ...

... well, there were some people that went a little
bit overboard with all the scary stuff ...

... but, Mommy always helped to remind me
that it's all just for fun ...

... and what a super fun night it was!!!

Below is a video that started off the night (listen for my favorite phrase right at the end) ...

So after much, too-much candy, fun, and excitement, it was time to come home and go to bed.  After telling Scrappy and Scout-No all about the night, as I undressed and jumped into my pjs, I heard this light scratching at my bedroom door.  As I slowly opened the door, there stood a silly Scout-No licking her chops for some of my treats.  Maybe next year she can come with ...

Avery, you and your BFF Shannan made adorable fairy princesses, but I have to say Scout gets the prize this time :-) P.S. Did you get any chocolate?

Avery Claire you are the most beautiful fairy princess on earth, even though Shannon gives you a run for your money. But honestly, you (or your mommy or daddy) must at least try to comb the back of your hair once in a while.
