Emery plays Pro-Soccer now and Daddy is her coach .... what?!?!!?!

 
Yes, I am a soccer player now ... how did this all happen??!?!?! 

Well, COVID life has wrecked my athletic lifestyle so it was time to do something about it. Daddy heard that soccer was a sport I could play during COVID since it’s outside, where I jumped at the chance. Daddy also jumped at the chance to coach my team!!!

I like playing goalie ... except when the ball gets kicked very very hard!!!!

I’m so glad to be running and playing around again with friends ...

Building a Treehouse Part 1 (Jan, Feb, and March)

 Here we go!!!!!

 It was only 59 bucks for a tree house design ...

 

 ... and so many more bucks for a few cut trees ...

... and a lots of blood, sweat, and tears to get everything in order to get started!!!

First things first ... tear down the old playground ... check!!!!

Next up is digging holes for the posts ... check!!!!

Daddy always makes sure to measure, measure, and re-measure!!!

I think we are ready for the concrete pouring!!!!

Just need to let the concrete set overnight!!!!

Then BAM!!!! All four posts are done ... time to start the floor!!!

Stella loved to watch us sweat ...

... while Scout slept soundly as we all worked hard!!!!

Time to start framing up the walls!!!!

Everyone "screwing around" ... screwing in the walls that is!!!!

And of course we need some windows to look out of!!!!

Daddy always kept the project right on track, finishing up if we got sloppy!!!!

We are really cooking now ...

... getting lots of walls completed ...

... and finalizing the base of the treehouse!!!!

And now we .... PAINT!!!!

Well some of us just "paint", where others see more than just a blank wall ...

... Avery sees a blank canvas and adds a little bit here and a little bit there to get ...

... so much more than a blank boring wall will provide ....

... where the sea of mountains flows across the scene ... PERFECTO!!!!

Now that the base is really done, time for a nap on the floor!!!!

... or just sitting on the floor in the shade can do for a rest ...

... or going crazy about "HOW CLOSE ARE WE TO BEING DONE"!!!!
