Anaheim Time!!!

Are we there yet???

Finally ... well, at least we are "somewhere"!

Can you guess where we are?

You guessed it ...

California living is the place to be ....

where, we are visiting our family, happy as can be!!

Right now we're with our cousin, having a super great old time ...

so much fun stuff to do, it's such a great great great time!!! 

Have you ever heard the song, "Cake By The Ocean Floor"??

Yeah ... "I know I don't have a snorkel, 

but my parents might just let me go for a little swim."

 I'm very hungry.

Even though the sand is just full of seagull poop,

it's still fun to do cartwheels over it all.

Almost to much fun ...

After a full night's rest (and a 20 min. car ride rest ), 

we decided to check out the Tar Pits.

You might not already know, but I love looking at 

dead animals ... I want to put all those eyeballs in my pockets ...

... sadly Avery keeps reminding me that the bones 

and eyes are special and not for taking home.

Now it's a little trip to Disneyland!!!

Here we are on the magical Cars ride!!!

You can't really tell, but Avery can hardly 

even not cry on a little roller-coaster like this one.

Avery is such a chicken that she 

wouldn't go on Splash Mountain with us.

I was suposted to keep my eyes on the road 

but that doesn't mean I can't rock out, does it?

I'm such a good diver, aren't I??

Ha ha!!

I'm ahead of Avery!! Emery wins!!!

This ride made me dizzy ...

... I think both Avery and Daddy got dizzy too.

This night is magical, I got to...

- order off the big-kids menu 
- go to Disneyland                 
- get my balloon hat                 
- watch Avery be a BIG chicken

Now with a very full tummy, time to dance to music.

Finally, sleep!!!

SSHH ...

...I think Avery fell asleep sitting up!

Avery told me that I was a show-off just 

because I was holding up the line, and sorta showing off.

Avery told me that I'd get some gold if I worked hard enough, 

and I believed her until ...

...I found out all the gold was plastic!?!?!

Avery also hated this "scary" ride ...

... and this "scary" ride too, where Avery walked

off of Space Mountain like ...

... this!!!

To cheer Avery up, I actually shared MY ice cream with her.

Then, after full tummies of cookies and ice cream,

I made Avery sick to her stomach on Tea Cups!!!

Summertime Projects!!!

It's always important to have a number of summertime projects to keep from getting too BORED!!!

 Emery getting a "dye job" from Mommy!!!

  Such a pretty color and super fun time ...

 ... and there's no such thing as too much rainbow!!!

 We also went "green" this summer ... 

hip hip hurrah for 66 deg AC all summer long!!!

 Even made time to make a new outside table too ...

 ... we really did help ...

... that turned out great!!!

Beach Trip!!!

We're rocking out in wild Mexico with our wild beach hair!!!

We are having soooo much fun it makes me 
want to scream and shout!!!

Meanwhile, Daddy went fishing with his friend Matt.

To be honest, I think Matt is a better fisherman than Daddy.

I mean, seriously, like 90% of these fish are Matt's!!!!

The SUPER COOL THING that I'm mad I missed out on 
were all the dolphins that swam with Daddy's boat...

... luckily, not all the pictures have Daddy's thumb in the lens.

Every big beach day calls for delicious fish tacos lunch!!!

(even if you don't like fish!!)

 

The water was too salty to snorkel in, 
so I mostly just wore this gear around the hotel.

And we got a few great family photos ...

... even if they're not all out at the beach.

Beach time is fun and all, 

but it can't out match device time on the couch!!!
