Summertime Road Trip 2017!!!
So many great sights to stop at, like Montezuma's Castle ...
... and Bearizona!!!
We got to see all sorts of wild animals, like Pedro the Puma!!!
Pedro loved playing in the plentiful green grass ...
... as much as Bart the Beaver loved to swim through the muck!!!
Then it was time for Bearatopia ...
... where we got to drive around and get up
close and personal to tons and tons of bears ...
... like jolly ol' Arnold here ...
... like Brutus the Gatekeeper over there!!!
Next up was a carb loading dinner stop ...
... yum yum yum ... nom nom nom ...
... and then crashing hard for a long night's sleep!!!
Next was our big adventure on a train to The Grand Canyon!!!
Such a great time riding in style with tons of roomy comfort ...
... although it's always more fun to be all in Mommy's space!!!
And here it is ... Big Ben ... ha ha, it's The Grand Canyon!!!
Let's go for a hike ...
... and climb a tree ...
... and climb another tree ...
... and look close at far away stuff ...
... and trail run super fast ...
... like super duper fast ...
... and have hot dogs for lunch ...
... and watch a traditional Indian dance ...
... and finally venture down the
hiking trails into the Grand Canyon ...
... and see mules transporting people ...
... and take nice scenic pictures ...
... and hike back out of the Grand Canyon
(so much harder than going down) ...
... and watch a wild west shootout show ...
... and see the wild west shootout show continue on horses ...
... and then get robbed by them on our train!??!?!!!
Ha ha, it was just all part of the show!!!
Next up was seeing a meteor that crashed into the earth ...
... along with all sorts of space test gear ...
... and then looking at the huge meteor crater itself ...
... it was ginormous!!!
Then it was off to the Petrified Forest ...
help, these dinosaur bones are going to eat us!!!
So much hardened old petrified wood to see ...
... and play on ...
... and hike around!!!
We even took a long hike
right out to where it looked like it was raining ...
... yep, it was raining alright ... quick, run back to the car!!!
Time to change out of soaked clothes and get all dried off!!!
Now it's time for some relaxation in our own little cabin in the woods!!!
Did we mention there was a super cool hot tub in it too!!!!
Time for a long relaxing night of sleep ...
... with a cabin eggs, bacon, and pancakes in the morning ...
... with some bed jumping romper time before venturing out ...
... for nice leisurely nature walks ...
... and feeding ducks at the pond ...
... along with taking time to "smell the flowers" ...
... and play silly games ...
... and hike up large hills ...
... and then even go out for a super cool boat ride ...
... being silly when we can, without sinking the boat ...
... and having the best vacation ever ...
... with all sorts of fun in-between!!!
But boy ol' boy, we were soooo exhausted that
we slept for days after getting back home!!!
