Thanksgiving

On Thanksgiving Day big sis and me 

took our dogies out on a walk!!!

Almost back home again!

Check out what big sis made for the pumpkin pie!

Look, I'm the dinner entertainment ...

 .. but turns out they needed my help somewhere else!!!

Thanksgiving Day feast!!!]

Mommy was so inspired by Grandma Wendy's feast, 

she decided to make another feast the very next day!!!!!

It was eaten in 10 seconds, for real!!

Everybody ate twice as much as this picture!!!

After that everyone had a terrible stomach ache. 

[except Daddy, who was still eating while everyone 

else was stuffed and exhausted on the couch]

Riding Otis ...

Emery started taking horse riding lessons, just like her awesome big sister ...

Emery gets Otis out 

[with a little help from her teacher Joann] ...

... then gets tacked up and there she goes!

Up, over, and on ...

... first Emery starts easy...

... then she picks it up a notch!

But the best part was when her teacher 
took her on a trail ride!!!!!

Now back in the round pen. TROTTING!!!!!!!  

[just like big sis]

Now it's time to stop for something special ...

Emery's ride is over, but now it's time to watch big sis.

Sis is trotting, really fast!

This went on, and on, forever!!!

Finally Avery gets off, and now time to go home ... Boo!

 Time for a pit stop, a quick rest and ...

 ... a refreshing water break!!!

 Uphill is always more of a struggle ...

 ... but Emery can usually power through ...

 ... and climb up that mountain ...

 ... well, until she gets super tired and falls behind ...

... maybe bikes are for suckers ... a

motorized vehicle may be more Emery's speed!!!
