S.O.S ... mid-summertime is just soooo boring!!!!

S.O.S .... mid-summertime is just soooo soooo sooooooo boring!!!! We are running out of things to do! See below just how boring our summertime has been ....

Avery's teeth are soooo bored ...

one fell right out of her mouth!!!

We are soooo bored ...

we started playing the piano!?!??!

We are soooo bored ...

we clean the house every day!!!!

We are soooo bored ...

we started swim lessons 

(Avery in pink and Emery in purple in back),

even though we already know how to swim!!!!

We are soooo bored ...

we took a "fun" trip to the bank to open savings accounts!!!!

Stella was soooo bored ...

 she jumped right into the pool!!!!

Emery is soooo bored ...

she hangs out at the mall to pass the time ...

... she's at the mall 7 days-a-week now!!!!

Avery is soooo bored ...

she hangs out at the barn almost every day ...

... even when Mommy isn't there!!!!

We are just soooo soooo sooooooo bored!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mommy Went Where?!???!?!

Emery finding out that Mommy has gone away for a week ...

 ... to help a friend in horse riding need and 
get her performance up just a tweak

... but it seems so unfair, all the fun she'll be having ...

... with huge groups of friends and wild sorts of gatherings ...

... while we are all stuck at home with nothing really to do, 

well, at least we have a great big old pool to jump into ...

... sometimes even with all our clothes on, just to look like a fool ...

... and we can definitely sneak out all of the good toys 

Mommy has so cleverly hidden back in dark dark places ...

... and can get really crazy in videos and 
make all sorts of wacky faces ...

... and beg beg BEG Daddy to let us
stay up really REALLY late ...

... and get to eat pizza ALMOST every night, 
always cleaning off our entire plate ...

... and when we get tired of pizza, 
yummy grilled meats are always next up on the menu ...

... although it's always such a bummer to clean up everything 
right before Mommy gets home, but we are always 
so glad to have her finally back ... whew!!!!!

Weird Dreams ...

With Mommy out of town this week, I (Emery here) have been having all sorts of weird dreams. The one I had last night was very VERY odd, where it went something like this ...

We all went out to explore a mysterious cave that just

suddenly appeared right outside the front door ...

... huge colorful scary monsters immediately came

out snarling, dropping us all to the floor ...

... and then a queen vampire magically appeared,

 flashing her razor sharp teeth of horror ... 

 ... ... ...
I then quickly awoke, dripping with sweat

... maybe I shouldn't eat sausage pizza so late anymore!!!

Monsoon, Oh How I Love And Hate You ...

The Monsoon season is one of a bitter sweet kind. Who doesn't love a break from the constant heat, but it always seems to happen at such inconvenient times ...

Emery lounging poolside with red popsicle in hand ...

... then eating a lunch of bananas, which are always in high demand ...

... but down came the flooding rains 

and washed them both back into the house ...

... though quickly they came back, running around

crazy and dripping wet like a louse!!!
