Grandma Judy and Grandpa Eric journeyed all the way down to visit us for our birthdays! It was a fun wacky time had by all ...

 ... until we were both thrown into the slammer for mining too much gold!!!

My birthday extravaganza started out great and continued on as the best day ever ...

Next was a quick bath (faithful Stella on drowning-watch duty)

Then some post-bath shenanigans of roping and riding 

Avery around like I'm a cowgirl ...

... before rushing out to my fancy birthday photo-shoot 

(note that the "3" on the sleeve was suppose to be a "2", 

which they say will be post-processed out later) ...

... and then I was completely surprised by all the

balloons overflowing from the car on our way home!!!

Barely time for a quick nap, 

I just nodded off for a few minutes in the 

hammock-chair before the party started

Dogs were on "red alert" to announce guests 

and then show them to the backyard

Emery's pool birthday party was a big hit, with fancy kid pools ...

 

... and fancy kid chairs ...

 ... and a huge fancy double chocolate cake 

(who can wait for utensils with cake that tasty) ...

... and tons and tons of fancy great new toys!!!

Thanks to everyone for all the gifts and for making my second birthday extra extra special!!!

She has so many good memories ...

  ... performing on stage with her class ...

... dancing & learning to the alphabet song ...
