Goodbye Our Sweet Sparky ...

Oh Sparky, our sweet Sparky, 

you were the best horsey we've ever met ...

... you took our love and loved us right back,

 oh so much more, we will never forget!

All the times we rode you on and on forever, 

and you just kept on trotting like the best ...

... all those times your old bones would say "no no no", 

but your great big heart just kept saying "yes yes yes"!!

Everywhere we ventured off to,

our wild trail rides felt like too much fun to be allowed ...

... but it would be tragic if we didn't tell you, 

even around the stables felt like we were in the clouds!!!

Oh Sparky, you will be missed, 

the way only best friends will ever know ...

... our dreams of riding in the rings, 

come and visit as we lay down to rest below.

Memories of that last day we parted, 

still sting even though it's already been some time ... 

... all those memories of our last outing, 

continue to run around in our hearts and mind.

Remember our last walk, 

it was the slowest walk that ever was ...

... you knew it as well as I did, 

our paths were splitting and there just was no pause.

These captured moments will always show, 

love can and will always endure ...

... and our memories will last a lifetime, 

or at least until we make new ones in the future, for sure!!!
