Owlie is back again!!!

Owlie, our wild Screech owl!!!

We have a wild screech owl that stops by to peek at us through Avery's window from time to time. It's name is Owlie and has been stopping by for longer than I (Emery) have even been here! Here is a link (from Jan 2012) to the first year we all became friends, which was almost four years ago ... look at how much bigger Owlie is! Hopefully someday Owlie will want to come stay inside, sleep next to the dogs, and stay with us forever!!!

Two Stuffed Turkey Days over Thanksgiving week?!?!?!

Since Thanksgiving only comes around once a year, why not double the celebration and have two Stuffed Turkey Days instead!!! Our first delicious Stuffed Turkey Day was at Grandma Wendy and Grandpa Charlie's house where Uncle Don and Auntie Judy joined us too!!!

 First Stuffed Turkey Day Dinner ... it was delicious!!!

 Post turkey dinner entertainment was provided 

by the Emery and Avery Puppeteers Team ...

 ... it was a very long puppet show with lots of different puppets!!!

 Then it was time to dance off all of that great turkey dinner ...

 ... again it was a very long dance party that all enjoyed!!!

 After the mid-meal entertainment, 
it was time for creamy dessert and then off to bed!!!

 A few days later our second Stuffed Turkey Day dinner 
was in work at home ... Mommy made a fabulous feast!!!

(isn't that Daddy's job???)

What a wonderful life to have double Thanksgivings!!! 
So much to be thankful for, we had to do it twice!!!

Sick Day, No Way!!!

Not feeling too good, 

today looks like a long sick day ...

... Mommy tried to assist, 

 rolling around in bed all day too, for the whole stay ...

... Avery tried to even add some cheer ...

... making pretty colorful flowers, 

right out of clay, picture perfect as a mirror ...

... had to start goofing around to make 

this boring sick day fly on by ...

... going absolutely crazy with tons of energy as 

this awful day ticks on, like a long sigh ...

... starting to feel better, end of the day now, 

fulling up the belly like nobody's business ...

... then some great sisterly love to end 

this very boring, horribly dull, sickness!!!

Mommy and Sophie had a huge riding show over the weekend and the competition was fierce, so we all went down to the fairgrounds to support her!!!

Our First Sleepover Party!!!

We had our first sleepover party at our house this weekend. Avery's BFF Chiara came over for the night (where she is also a good friend of mine). Here is just some of the fun we all had ...

Now for the sleepover part, all of us in the big inflatable bed ... 

Mommies are always included in a girls-only sleepover!!!

After breakfast, time for rope jumping exercises ...

... doubles rope jumping is the most fun!!!

Too much fun, where an extra long nap was had 

by all parties that very next day!!!
